Peterson is a guy that will succeed at whatever he does, Patterson knows how to use talent in the right positions. I'd take either in a heartbeat but if I had to choose It would be Peterson.

Seriously? After the way June Jones acted, you fault GP for saying that the next time SMU calls asking for program advice that he might not answer the phone? (they frequently were given help with facilities improvement projects, bidding contractors, visiting our facilities before they build their own, etc.)
And to the OP that faults him for how he handled the drug stuff and later how he handled Casey Pachall, you do realize that he kicked everyone that the police implicated at any time off the team, even though the FWPD chief has come under heavy fire for going on a very expensive witch hunt for TCU students and athletes, which ultimately turned up a whopping 3 grams of marijuana from all of the TCU football players combined and no other drugs. He also kicked CP, his starting QB, off the team 2 days before TCUs first ever Big XII home opener for a DUI, and he never even talks to recruits that have had an arrest on their record unlike most coaches. The guy handles discipline problems with an iron fist.
