$1.6 trillion over 10 years is not gargantuan... probably just the expiration of the Bush tax cuts and middle ground on estate tax.
BTW, what is this obsession with talking about taxes "over 10 years"? Both parties are doing this. Can't we just focus on 1 year at a time? If you ask me, when numbers are carried out over decades you are clearly trying to deceive people.
