The beezanies were worse than normal last night. When losing by 20 they started changing Reggie Miller. I was embarrassed for them

Yeah, missing our 2 best players against a roster that's been one of the most talented over the last few years isn't a formula for success. We could easily compete for an 8th seed with a healthy roster.

Not sure why people expected the team to be good this year. NBA teams just don't go from terrible to good in one season. Sonics/Thunder were horrid for 2 years with 3 top 10 picks, 2 of whom are All NBA players.

Even if Gordon were playing, it would still be an uphill climb to the playoffs. Mix his issues plus Davis's injuries and Rivers needing time to even be a solid contributor and you've got an obvious lottery team.

There are good pieces here, but they are young. They need time to play together and learn together

Said all along that I would be thrilled with anything above 35 wins for this year. Hoping the injuries go away and we can see improvement as they build for 2014 and 2015.

strong difference between expecting the team to be good and expecting the team to be competitive.

the level-headed on here, which is the vast majority, were hoping for 30-35 wins and to be competitive. the latter has not been happening the past few games.

the biggest problem is health right now. a healthy hornets squad is competitive. the product on the floor right now is not.

Yes, they were horrible. I really hope there are no season ticket holders within 4 or 5 sections of those morons. I can hear their shite all the way across the arena

I thought (and still do think) this hornets squad could shock a lot of the nba and be much better than pre-season expectations. This is 100% premised on Gordon coming back and other injuries held to a minimum. If Gordon remains a question mark for an extended period and others are frequently fighting nagging injuries, then we will suck. The west is absolutely staaaaaaaaacccckkkkeeedddd this year, so a playoff berth is possible but unlikely. If we were in the east, I'd say playoffs are more likely than not.

This team is still ridiculously young and we essentially have an all new staring lineup. Tough to have great chemistry after playing just 9 games with a basically all-new roster.

Only 3 games have been bad- Philadelphia, OKC, and NYK. 2 of those teams are very very good.

A very young team with rookies or first time starters making up most of the squad is going to be up and down. No serious veteran presence will lead to ups and downs.
