Ideas on custom hunting knife for wedding present?

My buddy is getting married and a couple of us wanted to chip in and get him something, possibly a nice hunting knife. Anybody got any recommendation for a nice one around $300 or so? Links would also be helpful.

I dont know a lot of people who like this knife...and at the least it has a big learning curve. I have a blind horse knife and they really have good knives. LINK
