I'm really excited about this kid. There have been a lot of great prospects since, but he is really special. Ridley was an unsung hero in my opinion, but Hill may be our next Faulk.

He really looks like something special. But then again so did Justin Vincent in 2003.

Just discussing possibilities. I know Vincent as a freshman held a lot of promise, but I like the way Hill carries himself. Faulk was the greatest Tiger in my lifetime so not discounting that. Just really excited about Hill

I know and so am I, but I'm just saying let another year pan out before we give him the "best LSU RB ever" crown so many are eager to give. He's had meaningful playing time in only six games so far. Hell last year I told myself Kenny Hilliard will be better than Trent Richardson, yet #27 has been virtually benched the last few games.

He's the best back since Hilliard last November.

Also we've had a lot of super backfields that didn't pan out. Remember how great the Addai, Broussard, Carey, Vincent one was. Addai was last on the depth chart and ended being the stud of the group. Hilliard, Ware, Ford, and Blue....seems similar only Jeremy Hill has found himself in front of the pack and making noise. I do love Ford and Ware though. Ware is another Addai in my opinion. Hill is just special and I think Les sees that.

I think the answer to this question is yes. There's no doubt this guy has something special. Faulk and Cecil had it and so does this guy. Sit back and enjoy.

Here's how I rank the RB's post Faulk:

Dominick Davis
Steven Ridley
Joe Addai
Justin Vincent
Labrandon Toefield
S. Ware

Then the list goes on. I think Hill can find himself at the top before its said and done.

I don't include Cecil in this list only because he only played a handful of games. Mealey either because he played with Faulk.

True. I think he played second fiddle a lot to Toefield only because Toefield was so great before his injury. DD was a beast!

He looks to be very special. Don't hype him up and let him do his thing.

Hopefully injuries won't sideline him nor will he spend to many nights at Bogies.

We were asking the same thing about JV.

If he stays healthy for the next two years, certain 1st rounder - I think he only gets better - so yes, the best since KF!

Yes Hester was the man.. Also, I am kinda partial to Ware I just love his style of running..He's a killa its only a few yards but somebody pays for every yard!!!

Not yet. Not even close.

Faulk was arguably the best ever.

Hill may be the best since Hester or Ridley, both of whom were 1,000 yard backs.

Hill is very good, but I haven't seen Faulk or Cecil talent yet. I think what's missing is toughness. Ware is our only back who has that. If Hill could boil over with hate just as he receives each handoff he'd be at that level.
