Nobody donated any money to his family. I spoke directly to Thon. Country Day actually cut Thon's guardian salary in half so he quit and went back to running his business out of Australia. If the guardian wss only about basketball why would he transfer Thon to a better academic school than Country Day. Thon also wanted to play faster and did not like all the different rules in Louisiana. Stop with all the hating.

Is Thon's uncle the guy that keeps e-mailing me about the money he inherited and wants to give to me?

So I guess Thon would make this up. How do you know it's not true? Anyway they are gone and he is better off for it.

They disnt "cut his salery in half". They were going to give him some money for running summer camps and other things during the summer, but since they weren't in the Country all summer, they didn't give him the amount of money they said they would. The only reason country day did this was becuse he didn't do the work he told country day he would, so this isn't any wrong doing by country day.

Also, if thon told you something, it probably wasn't even his opinion. Ed tells thon things and thon basically just goes along with it.

Does no one from Country Day see the issue with this?

Thon was in the US all summer becsuse he played for the dunkdog team which his guardian coached. I saw the game on ESPN at the end of July. He also played on the Nike and adidas aau events. So what are you talking about. What summer jobs when they were playing AAU. When I talked to him he said that he wanted to play fast and was glad when it finally happened. He also wanted to workout with his guardians cousin who trains Durant.

Would we even be talking about this if he wasn't a 7 footer at 15? He's from Australia/Sudan. Not from here. Whatever the reasons that brought him here are the same reasons he's leaving.

If all of a sudden he didn't want to play anymore, he'd be gone from here or Virginia. Whoever is "helping" him is helping the basketball player, not the person.

On the other hand, maybe he's using his helpers. It's all a big game of Who's Playing Who, and not the first that that has happened....

In Louisiana you can't play in any other event once your season starts. I went to see him when he went to NY in October and he could only train but not play in an allstar game. He was pissed. I know he couldn't play last year and early this year but I don't know why.

Thon was not here all summer. He came over to play in a couple of tournaments.

Also last year he couldn't play because he lived out of district, and this year he couldn't play early on because he had to wait 30 days from the time of his arrival since he missed the entire first quarter.

What does this have to do with playing "faster"?

Also most states prohibit players from playi.g in events during the season.

Yeah I didn't get that. Also it's not like he was playing against scrubs in Louisiana either. There's some great basketball in the boot this year.
