Sports radio here in Nashville had a caller this morning claiming contract is signed for 8 yrs 50 million. He also claimed to have deep ties within UT. TIFWIW

I hope it is if we hire a big name. I'd love for UT to debut Gruden or some other top coach the day before the SEC championship. It would be a solid PR move on UT's part. If we shite the bed again on hiring a coach I don't want them to announce it...ever.

It all comes from same caller in Nashville. 8 yrs 50 million and they gave him till 11-30-12 to make a decision. This caller called 3HL (Clay Travis and company) and then called Wychecks show in the am.

they are all repeating a tweet out of a Memphis radio station that is not worth the words it was printed on. Arkansas has never offered Jon Gruden anything that was signed and if Tennessee wants to pay 8 million dollars for an unproven college coach then more power to them.
