its just funny because the dude is a lawyer, but he's really trying to trick people out of $100?
and even if it was an honest mistake, not wanting to refund the $100 even after getting called out on it?
Even if he wasn't trying to scam him and was being genuine, having the buyer send money as a gift to savethe "paypal fee" from a $100 transaction?
What kind of cheap arse lawyer is this guy?

I've done a lot of transactions on PayPal for convience, and if I'm buying and seller is offering a good price, ill just add the fees in to the amount. Never gift it.
The seller was wrong here apparently, and needed to own up to the mistake. As an attorney, he should've recognized this and made an attempt to make the buyer whole.

No have not gotten my money back. Matter of fact he lied to PayPal and they can't give me my money cause he asked me to send as a gift and I stupidly did. Now going to my back. Really thinking of reporting him to the bar

Have you informed him of this? Bottom line is you paid for a service he did not provide. Even if he would have given you better seats on the West Sideline with Field Passes, it STILL ISN'T what you paid for. And he knows this.
It's HIS problem he wasn't organized enough to inform you ahead of time your desired pair was no longer available. Since PayPal wasn't able to resolve the issue, can you just dispute it with the credit card company you used on file?

I've bought tickets from him before with no problem, but I will not be doing so in the future. He'll prolly make an alter so be sure you remember his section and seat #s. Out him to the admins if you see someone offering those seats under another name.
