Yes, we have lots of things that destroy lives and luckily for the world we're more reluctant to use them. We didn't want to get involved with the World Wars until other countries got ignorant and pushed us to defend ourselves. Turns out, we saved the world for it.

Do you know the history of the Muslim Brotherhood? It was founded in Egypt in 1928. By 1936 it was engaged in opposition to British rule in Egypt. Major fricking fail.

Come on Josh - you don't know that the Palestinians fire weapons from neighborhoods so that Israel's response kills civilians, specfically children? They don't care who they kill on the Israeli side (you can admit that, can't you?) and they certainly want their own civilians killed just for the public relations boon in the international press.
I'm not going to defend everything Israel has done in 65 years, but the anti-Israel talking points are just pure propoganda (which you are parroting) and ignore that it is Hamas who ALWAYS shoots first - then runs behind the UN's skirt when things go badly for them. Pathetic.

No CNN does not hate Israel. They just like you to see both sides of the issue more than other networks do. Why only get one perspective from the side you favor? Ugh.....CNN is still left bias but much better than any other network I have seen so far on TV.

I just want to point out that you are a fricking idiot who has a breathtaking lack of knowledge regarding Middle Eastern history.
The Muslim Brotherhood was not founded due to anything the US did or did not do. It was founded in Egypt in 1928 as a political/religious group dedicated to establishing Sharai Law in that country and then spread it throughout the Middle East. At that time the US influence in Egypt was nil.
Before spouting any further ignorance and/or stupidity in this thread please do us all a favor and at least educate yourself a little on the subject matter.

while im sure there are lots of civilian casualties it is not above Hamas to use human shields of women and children in order to stop an Israeli bombing...they will especially do it when Israel calls the house to tell them to get out within 5 minutes. There are several videos on youtube of IDF actions where human shielding is an obvious and disgusting military tactic for Hamas. To call out Israel is asinine.
