That's exactly why. Besides that, there aren't any black coaches on staff or in the area that have the resume' to be HC at Neville at the moment.

Supporters don't make personnel decisions. Plenty of white kids with rich parents have gotten suspended by Rankins. He's not the type that gets "crossways" with people. He cares about his kids but deals out a lot of tough love. People respect him for that. He'd have to kill somebody or get caught with an underage boy to get fired. If somebody came in and tried to get rid of him there would be thousands of calls and emails to the school board to have him reinstated, ie Jimmy Rogers.

WOW, you know sooo much about Rankins and Neville. My uncle is a major donor. My boss was Vidrine's college roommate and is heavily involved at the school despite not being an alum. Another friend has been Vidrine's neighbor for several years so I think I have a bit more insight into what goes on at the school than some random arse dude who periodically comes to games.
