Dinner Lab Friday night

Did anyone else make it to the Dinner Lab this past Friday night?
It was my first one, and I was pretty underwhelmed.
It was on the top floor of the Exchange Place building, so that was cool. We got to go up to the roof and since it was a clear night, the view was amazing.
The first course was a salmon ceviche with quinoa. It was very, very good. No complaints there. The second course was lemon broth type soup that had a mussel in it. It was just o.k. The third course was a pumpkin fritter type dish that was very good. The fourth course was supposed to be a dish with chicken in it, but there was no chicken...just two potato pancake type things. Maybe something went wrong with the chicken?? The last course was some sort of odd dessert made with peaches. It was just o.k.
After it was all said and done, they said they had extra ceviche and handed that out. THANK GOD they did, because we were all STARVING. It was absolutely not enough food. It was 5 courses, with each one being about 1/2 the size of a traditional small plate.
I like the concept, but this one just fell short. I'll give it another try since each one is a different chef and they'll all be different.
