Am I the only one who thinks that it would help his stock to come back one more year. He's made some plays this year. But, he's also blown some coverages in certain situations.

He is definitely gone. I'm really surprised and disappointed by his play this year. He has seemed checked out from day one. I wouldn't expect that from him.

A lot of things go into his decision.
As a soph it would have been a no brainer
He hasn't had as good a year as last but I don't think his stock is down that much
He does have a little girl to provide for
You do have to weigh injury and he has played hurt most of the year
You cost yourself money if your not a first rounder but is a second rounder all that bad
Only he and his family can make that decision

He made need to come back, but he won't improve his draft position. He will go and I can't blame him.

I don't think he is a poor player at all. But, I think the lack of experienced cornerbacks has hurt is production this year.

What we've witnessed was the last-minute loss of his running mate in the defensive backfield. Reid has lamented the dismissal of TM7 all season and for good reason. The defense loss their best playmaker; a corner who actually played supreme safety; also lost their two best Olinemen, and their number one running back along with numerous other injuries. All teams have trying seasons like this occasionally. It was LSU's turn and it really has effected the mindset of Reid IMO. That being said, I'm hearing from someone close to the program that he is leaning toward leaving. I wish him the best no matter his decision but I join those who wish he would stick around and be a great senior leader.

He didn't look like a first rounder on that Wallace keeper for a TD. No Way he is a First Rounder. 3rd rounder this year. By the way who is next in line?

However I still believe he is one of the best in the country and will be gone.

I'd be slightly surprised at this point if he leaves. He was a lock in my simple mind to leave before this year. But this has been a really bad year. I mean, on one hand, you can see potential, and as some would say, "his body is ready" lol. But the mistakes he's made have been terrible. Two TDs given up by him to Old Piss just last game. But I think he's being looked at by everyone in the league, so IDK. I look at him and say, he's a monster coming up to stop the run, but against the pass this year, a bit of a letdown. Not terrible by any stretch, but I, like most, expect another step forward here.

The one thing that makes me lean to yes, is he's been banged up, and some of his missed tackles can be compounded by that. And the injury itself might make him take that jump.

I want him to stay, and yeah, his draft stock would probably improve if he came back another year. However, he is getting his degree in May and will be a 1st or 2nd rounder regardless. Don't know why he would stay for the chance of MAYBE getting drafted higher.

Again, germans but according to Mike S., Reid's father told him last week he was returning. Similiar to Logan, said he didn't play his last game in TS.

I wonder how much Ron Coopers absence is hurting the D.

I went to the Ole Miss game. Reid and Collins looked out of sorts.

Exactly. It has completely changed how he is used.

He is gone, dude may be having a down season to us but that can be partly the result of his exceptional play the previous few seasons. He set his own bar too high along with experienced players around him leaving making his job harder. Scouts see a player who has the talent to play the next 10+ years at the next level and talent to play at a high level. Some team will take him in first and he has no reason to stay really

When you day he is a first or second rounder where do you come up with this. Any team that gives him a second round grade hasn't seen him play and is just going on potential. He would be a special teams player at best the way he's played this year.

I laugh at the Ron Cooper reasons. He isn't playing with two first team all americans and a senior next to him. That's the major difference. I think he will stay another year.
