Let's reminisce about how much "fun" their fans were in the 2004 Sugar. (Heavy sarcasm intended) What was your experience like with OU fans?

For those that don't know, if FSU beats Florida and LSU beats Ark, LSU is pretty much a lock to Sugar vs either OU or Texas (regardless of whether we make the Top4 or not). (Also, FWIW, if Florida beats FSU, LSU is going to either Cotton/Outback)

CBS: Jerry Palm Bowl Projections

Bama/UGA vs Notre Dame national title
Sugar gets first pick to replace SEC team ... they take Florida or LSU
Fiesta gets first at-large pick to face KState (they take a Pac12 team or Clemson)
Sugar gets next at-large pick (they take Big12 team or Clemson)
Rose is traditional Pac12-Big10
Orange is ACC champ vs Louisville

I was really rooting for OU to lose last night ... tightass group of fans that mirror their stiff of a coach.

We camped in the RV lot on Canal with Sooners on either side of us. No problems at all with their fans, drank many a beer with them. I still despise "Boomer Sooner" though; even more than Rocky Top.

It's possible Sugar takes Texas over OU. Would probably happen if OSu beats Oklahoma.

I don't like OU fans, they are no fun at all IMo. That said, LSU-OU is a very high profile matchup I could get excited about.

I'm in OKC for three months with my LSU gear in tow. I hope this matchup comes true.

If Oklahoma state beats Oklahoma (and Texas wins out vs TCU/KState), we are probably looking at a LSU-Texas Sugar Bowl

That's if lsu is in the top 4? Bc sugar may very well go Texas a&m vs Texas in this situation

Yeah, Sugar could opt for A&M if we don't finish in Top4, but that is unlikely.

Sugar has a good track record - at least pertaining to SEC teams - of taking the most "deserving" team (think Arky-LSU in 2010).

Let's say LSU finished 5....Sugar is going to take LSU over A&M who both have the same record, LSU is higher ranked, and LSU beat A&M.

If FSU beats Florida, LSU is going Sugar Bowl. Now if Florida wins, the Sugar Bowl bid is theirs and LSU/A&M go to Cotton/CFA/Outback
