Just beat it on legendary last night 
But yeah it doesn't quite feel like old halo, nor would I expect it to after 10 years

I agree. I did enjoy it more than Reach, but it just isn't the same.
Legendary was a joke IMO compared toe earlier games.

The gameplay is certainly an upgrade from Reach. I enjoy it but the gameplay still isn't as clean as Halo CE or Halo 2. I was playing online tonight and got bored so me and my brother hooked up the original Xbox and played H2 on XBC. Much more enjoyable.

Two major problems I have with H4 MP:
1. Taking weapon spawns off the map. RETARDED.
2. The maps themselves are really lacking.

In H2 everything was just so crisp and consistent. Grenades were perfect. Maps were great. The problem is 343 didn't want one gun to be the end all be all and that's where they messed up. Instead of balancing and configuring 25 weapons just have your main weapon (Battle Rifle) with your power weapons(sniper,rockets,sword,shotty) then mix in situational weapons. AR like from Halo CE that was solid from close range. Bring back the stun effect from plasma weapons so there is an actually reason to use them. PP slightly nerffed from H2. No sprinting no jet pack. The game should be based on shooting, grenades, melee.
