Why do you say that? Just curious...
I like him but I think his film leaves a little bit to be desired. It is obvious he has the physical tools but he definitely plays too high right now, almost stands up straight out of his stance. Ego Ferguson I think is a fair comparison...I think he'll be very good in time but would benefit greatly from a RS year.
The staff has been VERY high on him the entire time we recruited him. He was 1 of the "must get" for this class. And he has the size, speed, and athleticism to play as a young guy. I dont see him playing DE for us. Hes going to be a DT. Sure, hes raw. Most recruits are all raw and havent been coached that well in high school. LSU will coach him up. And, if Bennie Logan leaves this year, the only DTs that have gotten PT on the team would be The Freak and Ego. All the other DTs havent seen the field. I dont see us RS him for depth reason. Plus, we dont really RS that many players. Especially at DL. We like to rotate them in while they're young to get some experience.
I dont think he will come in and be a starter, not saying that. But, I can see him being rotated in for a few series each game during the year.
