Mark Crossfield videos on YouTube are fantastic. I often watch them even if I'm not interested in the clubs. They are always very informative.

Yeah, he's a helpful little guy.

Pretty sweet set up he's got there too.

Hey how much does a fitting cost? I kinda want to go get this done; even though I'm not ready to buy new irons yet I want to get fitted so I know what to look at when I'm ready to buy some

My Joxy skills are strong today!

Price: no clue...some places will charge you $20 or so...Others might charge you $100...If you go to a demo day close by, you can get most of the info for free.

Thanks for any input

It depends on what you want to do. Want to become a better golfer and willing to take some lessons? Then get a set of irons that are less forgiving and force you to be a better swinger of the club (AP2's for example).

Or if you just want a new set of irons that are more forgiving for your occasional rounds then go with the game improvement irons (Pings for example).

Both are good choices, but choose wisely.

Bumping thread for nighttime crew.
Also adding that I hit some Ping Anser 2013's at golfsmith today. They are expensive as hell but damn they felt good. I know ping makes great irons but ping+forged=badass. Any OT ballers on here play these?

I'd go with AP1s if I were you. Can't go wrong with any you listed. I love my ap2s and the ones are just more game improvement

**Update**
Got fitted at Edwin watts and went with the Mizuno MP-H4's. Computer matched me to extra stiff shaft so went with the project X PXi 6.5's. Also upgraded to multicompound GP black/blue grips. Icing on the cake was adding the new titleist 913 D2 with RIP-alpha stiff shaft. It was a good day my friends.

You can NEVER go wrong with mizunos. Nice choice. I would have endorsed the Callaway Razr Fit though with Rocketballz FW

I have a RBZ 3W and hybrid 19 deg that I like a lot. I've always liked titleist drivers and I'm upgrading from a 907.

I currently hit the i15. If I had 1400 I would have a set of the new anser. Holy shite those things are pure. Hit them today against my better judgement. Need them now!

re: OT Golfers: New Irons roulette

Ansers are very sweet. I just felt the Mizunos fit me better. Ansers were probably a little too much club for me right now.
