But you were 3rd in the West, the only way a conference can have 3 teams in BCS Bowls:
2 teams playing for the title (LSU & Bama) and the 3rd being the conference champs (UGA)

I understand that, but he meant if the rule limiting a conference to two teams weren't in place. Not the only exception to that rule.
