There's a kernel of truth here. Despite clear mistakes, in general Miles has made good use of the talent he has. Given all the injuries and the early season not-ready-for-primetime nature of Mettenberger I think this year may be one of Miles's best coaching years. We've arrived at the last couple of games playing as good a football as anyone in the nation.

LSU didn't have SEC quality QB's for the four seasons
Mett threw more over the middle vs MSU than LSU has for the last four years
faith and trust are pretty big points with this staff and it's QB
and I have no issue with that

I think this is like 2006, where by the end of the season, no one in college football would have wanted to play the Tigers.

First of all having the best Passing Efficiency means your passing game doesn't suck.
Show me a passing offense which ranked around 100 out of 120 all last season and I'll show you a passing offense that sucks no matter the passing efficiency.

For the first time in three years, LSU's passing yards more than doubled its rushing yards in a victory. The Bulldogs, normally a strong running team, managed only 47 yards rushing against the Tigers.
