I don't go to Monroe much, but have heard ads for a place called Catfish Charlie's. For you who live over there, what's your take on this place?

uhhh, it ain't bad.. very laid back,, they do offer a sort of a thin and crispy option similar to middendorfs.. for whatever reason they cut the catfish steaks sorta in a different pattern than normal.. It's ok.. For just catfish, I prefer Catfish Cabin and out in Swartz, Danken Trail.

I prefer the catfish, whole or filet, at Catfish Cabin. Haven't tried Dankin Trail, but if Gueaxt swears by it, it ain't bad.

Its good for what it is, which is a fried fish place (obvious I know). They do have a thin fried but its not close to middendorf's. Their thick fish is pretty decent.
