Hard working, prosperous minorities vote Democrat. I've read the explanations but have not seen one that makes sense.

not at all public spending is not subject to market forces. it's subject to the will of government

Seriously, why are actual top earners voting blue?
1. Because they are educated 2. If they are a "minority" then they probable have some experience with poverty in their family 3. They live in urban areas so they actually see poverty as opposed to those who live in some backwoods small town and there only knowledge of poverty is what Bill O'Reilly told them Also I doubt just 70% of voting Jews voted for Obama.

why? 99% of Everybody born in Louisiana roots for LSU over Bama.....which is the better university and team? Some things just defy logic.

rural and urban areas obviously both have poverty but living in a city makes you emotionally deal with it in a different way

those "backwoods small towns" have a higher chance of facing real poverty than in urban areas we're talking living in shacks, no running water poverty

Ike won the Black vote in 1956 and Nixon got 32% in 1960. Is there anything that happened since then that you can think of that might have polarized Blacks? Do you know what Black Republicans like Colin Powell, JC Watts and Michael Steele have said on this issue?
