I'm still trying to figure out how good he is. He didn't do anything at the Underarmor game last year, he's still sort of a mystery to me.

they average less than 70 passing yards/game. Avery had 9 catches for 126 yards and 2TDs. The whole team only had 3 receiving TDs.

Avery is good, he was considered a top 10, elite wr in his class prior to his sr yr. Dude is 6'2 and runs a 4.3.

Awful QB play and lack of motivation is why he dropped in the rankings. He doesn't have a good work ethic but that could easily be fixed.

Ok this makes sense, I sort of figured he didn't have the drive of his brother. Hopefully in his case it can be fixed because you really never know, it's a case by case sort of thing.

He put up ridiculous numbers as an underclassmen in a tough district in FL. Then fell off his senior year and didnt do much at camps/all-star games. Not sure if his lack of recent success is more a supporting cast or personal issue though.

if this is true he will struggle. it takes a strong work ethic to play sports in college; any sport. a ton of time is required and there are a ton of distractions that make it tough to hit the books. my hope is that his brother and coach miles can reach him and develop a plan that works. maybe a red shirt. getting talent to college is easier than keeping it and developing it. a teacher is not good unless he has a good student.
