it's not really a prevent thing as much as the Jalens don't look particularly adept at playing zone. they've had their positive moments (see Collins' pick of Manziel for an example), but they seem like they give too much ground initially and then don't break on the ball that well once it's in the air.

Both corners line up 15-20 yds off the LOS. Its not the player giving up too much ground, thats the formation. Press coverage would be too risky in that situation, but 5-10 yds would be safe imho.

And btw, I know Chavis knows more than me/us.

I do not profess to be an expert but this sure is what it looked like from the West Upper.

When I think of a true prevent D, I think of rushing only 3, dropping 8 and having 3 deep safeties. X and O guys: is this correct? Anyway, we are not doing that, but what we are doing is just not working and we are giving up 15 yard routes as if they were 5 yard routes AND we often give up the sideline, too. A real head scratcher when you consider how well the D has played on the whole.
