The chicks in your avi, I want them. And they can bring their weapon, as I will have mine cocked and loaded.

Good info as usual bro

I though as much. You wonder some times about what the sentiment out there is toward independent guys and all these sites abroad that are raking in millions

Vegas doesn't worry about smaller guys because most end up burning themselves. I knew a friend that use to book a few years back, had a good football and basketball season, got cocky, didn't put any profits back for a bad run, and then in one week in baseball he got hit for $85,000. People were looking to kill him, sold everything he had, and ended up moving.

Definitely a interesting thought. But I feel like Vegas probably views local bookies and offshore books as non-threatening really. If you think about it, if Joe Blow in Texas likes to bet games, he's probably not gonna fly out or move to Vegas just cause he wants to bet. So he can bet recreationally with a local or an offshore book, and will probably still fly out to Vegas every now and then. The local/offshore shops don't really take a cut outta Vegas' normal clientele.

Just my thoughts, I could be way off.

Now if other states/cities legalize sports betting, then I think Vegas would start to feel threatened.

Another good follow that I haven't seen mentioned here is Todd Fuhrman.

He is now with Clay Travis so I do not read any more of his stuff, but he was a former oddsmaker.

He used to have a segment on the radio locally here and I really enjoyed his perspective. I do not have twitter but I check his from time to time because of his insight. Also very engaging with the public.

Where in Tennessee are you? Nashville?

Opening a twitter account just to follow betting people is worth it.

Cool. I am 30 miles to the west, and north, of Nashville.

The wife and I took our little girl to Chattanooga for a day trip last year. Hit the aquarium, some hipster pizza place, ice cream shop, then headed in to stay with my family 30 miles EAST of Nashville.

I really like Chattanooga. Beautiful city.

Hipster pizza. Probably Lupis or somewhere on the North Shore.

Chattanooga has a lot of hipsters these days, but I love the city. Full intend on moving back whenever I'm outta school.

Winner winner! Don't get me wrong it was a cool place, would have been better if it was just the wife and I where we could have enjoyed some beverages.

You at Bama?

Oh, I love the place for food. Definitely hipster vibe though. They have some great bruschetta bread.

I'm graduating from Bama in December and actually just got accepted yesterday to go to Miss State for a Masters of Science in Turfgrass Science. So I'll be heading west to Starkville for the next two years. Got a very nice funding package from MSU, so I'm very excited.
