I don't know what happened to UVA the past two weeks, but in my mind, they still blow. I mean, they're only 21 days removed from losing to goddamn wake forest. How much better could they have possibly gotten?

I do think the over looks safe, but I could see UVA getting their asses whupped. I could also see UNC getting their asses whupped. The only teams in the ACC I feel safe betting on (or against) are: Clemson (because their offense is sick); Wake (because they're atrocious); and BC (because they're also atrocious). FSU used to be on that list, but they came way way way too close to losing me about two dimes last Thursday (had them on the ML against VT...risked 2K to win 400).

It's funny how some people have a preference one way or another. I very much prefer betting favs. But I have a good buddy, who I talk picks with, who is always looking to grab points. Interesting phenomenon.

How does one go about getting a gig at a sportsbook? And not like the cashier job or anything. But the guy -- or one of the guys -- who actually gets to set the lines and make the call on when to move the lines. I'd love to do that for a living.

Do you have know somebody? Do you have to start low and work your way up? Or do you just go out to Vegas and start gambling and if you start kicking their arse, they take notice and hire you?

UNC also lost to WF.

UNC 1-3 on the road against a hot team on a short week and I get a key #? Sounds good to me.

Gonna play, just not sure if I want UVA and over stright-up or teased, and if I want to throw anything on UVA ML.

My guess would be that you'd have to work your way up unless you knew someone.
