Has LSU started a new trend by turning JC into a fullback?

I could see a lot of teams seeking a quick, undersized dlineman to stick at fullback. I think JC is getting very close to Quinn Johnson status. Quinn is the barometer I compare fullbacks to.

Other schools have done it in situations, but I don't recall seeing anyone else do it on a full-time basis. Jesse Williams at Alabama. Florida in some of their heavy sets circa '08, I believe.

No but we recruited and signed the FB from his high school. He got cut or left after we moved JC to FB

that was Brandon Worle. he left more because he didn't get a shot to play RB than the move of JC. I really wanted to see that dude play anything (special teams offense or D), his tape was awesomely violent.

Only at LSU, most teams do not run a traditional I anymore
