Let me ask the question a different way:

What is it about a $150 seat that makes it worth 10 times what a $15 seat costs?

its really true. I've had season tickets on the sidelines in the upper bowl, behind the goals in the lower bowl, and in the corners of the lower bowl. the arena is built well for fan experience. really the only bad seats in the house are probably the last 5-10 rows in the upper bowl behind the goals.

lol again putting words in my mouth. at least read and comprehend what I typed before spewing ignorance. I said "its about pissing off the people who actually pay to be there". I never said me.

I don't get mad about stuff like that, but I will argue with cheapskates like you who try to justify it as being perfectly ok to do so.

While I agree with you about that wholeheartedly, I mean for those participating to ponder what is it that makes the difference and share.

Do you pay to be there? Yes, so that includes you.

Reading comprehension, chief.

So the issue is about pissing off the people who pay to be there, although you don't get mad at that, and not that it's "stealing" from the Hornets as you've said.

So why do these people, like myself, make you so upset if they have never sat in your seats or caused problems with yourself?

right. I just want to hear from bdd who claims to do this why he desires it so badly? why not be happy with the seats you have? there is no shame where you sit, but to sit down and have to worry about getting caught because you're trying to scheme your way into taking something you didn't pay for is just silly. lol

ok since you're obviously incompetent and completely ignoring what I have said I'll just make one last comment directed at you about this.

we can agree to disagree.

you think that it is perfectly acceptable to take something that you didn't pay for and you justify it with the excuse that no one is using it. I disagree.

LAwhoDat: Tell me what you think about this, my history. I'm a upper corner guy. I `cheat' since I'm in row 1, but I'm an upper bowl guy. I think I always will be.

I've snuck down there in the past and saw not enough pluses (for me) to justify the price, risk, or loss of my social circle upstairs. I've also bought the cheap tickets as a `treat' for someone who wanted to come to a game, etc. Still nothing. I've had a 4 top notch club seats given to me. Nice on the part of the client, but nothing. I got courtside for a game. Novel, but nothing.

Clearly, not all of this is related to sneaking, but I'm laying it all out there so people can add what they think or like about the lower and upper bowls.

I never pay for parking or concessions. If my g/f bring two water bottles in her purse inside the Arena, I bet ole boy in here thinks that is stealing as well

TTT,

I'll be sure to report that to the Hornets and NOPD that your gf is sneaking in waters and thus pissing off the patrons who have to pay $4 for a bottled water. You should feel ashamed.

Depends on your disposable income. For a college kid, it's not worth a month of going out to sit courtside. For a lawyer or doctor swimming in money, it may be worth paying to sit down low.

I'd like to sit down there at some point. I think it would be very cool.

Same here, upper deck row 1, mid court. What section you in?

And I agree, the only seats better than mine are the middle two sections of club. Other than that, there isn't another seat I'd rather be in (outside of floor seats of course)

ETA: But no where in the arena is worth the increase in price over my seats

Personally I think it all boils down to your personal preference to be honest. I have sat all over the arena over the years and in my opinion the best seats in the house are the first 5-10 rows of the sidelines in the upper bowl. from there you can see the plays unfold before your eyes where in the lower bowl you can't. its a very different experience in the lower bowl. you're right on top of the action, but depending on where you're sitting you sometimes cannot see all that is going on.

I think the Hornets have done an excellent job at pricing most of the tickets. anything in the upper bowl is very affordable as well as behind the goals in the lower bowl. we have the 3rd cheapest tickets on average in the entire NBA and still cannot build a decent fan base. its a shame really, but you can't fault the organization.

303.

I'll save a pair for you Friday or Saturday if you want to come see how the other half lives, TTT!

I know you have tickets, but that way you won't be lapping up.

Accurate.

I do think, noted above, that it's novel and a nice treat, but I'm just an upper bowl guy.

It's takes both types to (happily) fill the Arena, so cheers.

also I forgot to mention, the biggest flaw with the Arena is the upper bowl seats are extremely tight together where as the lower bowl is much more comfortable. even for people of normal size the upper bowl seats are offer little to no leg room. I can't imagine how horrible the experience in the upper bowl has to be for someone that is overweight. my ticket rep actually commented on it before that they receive a lot of complaints from overweight customers about it lol.

Thanks man- I was given LSU/Ole Miss tickets so I'll be in BR all weekend. I gave my hornets tickets to my pops. I'm over in 315.

I agree. Was upgrading to 101 club a couple games ago- It was nice, especially having access to the better food. However for watching the game, I'd rather my own seats.
