Yes!!!!!!! If I see police officers and the other school's principal approaching MY football coach, then YES...I will be out there defending him! And resolving it before it got to the coach.
If his principal was out there like she should have been the coach wouldn't have put in that situation to begin with.

The game was not delayed. Even with everything that happened, Parkway's band perfomed at their scheduled time, and the kickoff still took place at 7:00 with Tut on the field.
When things started happening, the LOH principal started making her way to the field, but Tut was already in cuffs. This whole thing took place very quickly, not some long ordeal as some people think. Why would a principal be on the field with the team during warmups?

The fact remains that the police officer SHOULD NEVER HAVE MADE THE REQUEST.

No, I haven't. I really don't expect that. Our team will tell anyone that their team played a clean game. They've all said how there was very little trash talk, and that they were friendly. Both teams helped each other up after plays. It's sad that something like this messed up a night for the kids, because it was supposed to be for them.

As a coach, the thing to do would have been to immediately call for your principal and say, "My principal is on her way and you guys can discuss it when she gets here." That situation needed to be handled between the administrators.
