October 11 th 1997. As a frosh at Lsu I witnessed the greatest upset in Lsu history. It's the only time Lsu has ever beaten an AP number 1 ranked team at home. As I walked on the field that night, in tears, I felt at one with the stadium, the school and the entire state. I am from Green Bay, Wisconsin and know a thing or two about quality football. After that game I was hooked for a life!

I have always been a fan I guess. I remember as a 6 y-o, Dad took us to see LSU-Rice, in Houston. I had been reading Dad's programs and knew many of the players. I remember pointing out those I recognized, Bert Jones, Jimmy Ledoux, Al Coffee, Rusty Jackson, Brad Davis, and that being the highlight of the game for me, since the game itself was not very exciting for a kid to watch (12-6 Tigers). I'm sure I had gone to games before in TS, but I think that was the game I really started recognizing players, and seeing the game, not just the atmosphere. I loved most of all standing there as the band marched by, with the drums playing that same familiar cadence that would shake my guts and inspire me to become a drummer as well. Everything about LSU has always been exciting to me, and I may irritate my wife, but I can't see anything LSU without commenting on it. Everytime I see an nfl player that played for LSU, I just say, "LSU Boy," and my wife says, "It figures. I don't know how you remember all of that." I just tell her it's in my blood, and that I can't help myself.

First game in TS, 1969, age 10, vs. Texas A&M, 35-6 victory.

My love for college football has just continued to grow over the years. Pro Football is almost an afterthought anymore, but I love sitting down on a Saturday and watching 12 hours of College Football!

Around 8 when I saw lsu on tv and Charles the great. Loved helmets and jerseys. Never knew we wore white. Grew up in upstate New York, still live here. Been to about 30 games, last three bama games along with being at the biggest game crowds since '97 Florida. Got a tour of facilities this year, a thrill of my life. I'm as close as a Louisianan as can be. Could imagine being a fan of any other school. Geaux Tigers!

I was 5 years old. Can't remember what game it was, other than it was an SEC game. He had season tickets, so he started bringing me with him to every game at that point. He worked for LSU, so I'd go see him at work and spent a lot of time on campus running around after school and some days during the summer. He'd give me a $5 and I'd go to the union to play in the arcade. I grew up at LSU, both on campus and going to the games. I did some more growing up when I went to school there.
