TGBFTL Pregame. If we had gotten one more first down and 3 kneel-downs, they'd be rebuilding the SEZ

The Bama game took the cake... 1997 Florida had it before Saturday.

It was definitely my best experience in Tiger Stadium. I was taken out of there by ambulance during one of the Florida games, but don't remember it at all. I remember all of this one.

This one finally beat out 2003 Georgia. I never though anything would beat it, but this one did. We were so close

The whole second half felt magical. That game will stick with me until I die. Only tiny little moments of games I've been to will ever compare, like the blocked field goal against bama in 2008 and being on the field during Mathieu's punt return against Arky 2011.

But the ENTIRE second half of Bama 2012 will stick with me. Copeland's beast mode, Beckham's one-handed catch on the sideline, the way Tiger Stadium absolutely erupted after Hill and Landry scored. The very last minute or so will also stick with me forever...which will build upon one of the greatest rivalries in NCAA history.

I was at 1979 Southern Cal game, and Saturday night against Bama was the equal of it. They were similar games--USC #1, LSU rallying to take the lead, the fury of the crowd, the critical penalty (Thibideaux's face mask and Coleman's personal) that made the difference, the final miracle drive that loses the game for us. The AP article going out nationally the next day said, "...the LSU crowd screamed themselves into a frenzy."

i totally agree with the prior post. Now people who were not at the 79 USC game know what it was like. The only difference is that though both games had devastating endings, the crowd in 79 kept on yelling even after we lost. The crowd last Sat was more of a stunned silence at the end.

I can't help but to wonder what the 03 Georgia game would have been like if it would have been a night game.

1 2003 Georgia
2 2007 Florida
3 2012 Alabama

1971 Notre Dame. While the referee was standing by the football waiting to blow the whistle for the opening kickoff the LSU student ran across the field and and planted an LSU flag right next to the football. TS erupted!! It was INSANE in TS. Much like when the USC-Stanford score was announced in '07.

I was 14 and in TS. I'm pretty sure the flag-planting happened while we were waiting to come out of the TV timeout right before the opening kickoff. I can still feel the crowd erupt....goose bumps.

At that point we KNEW we were going to win!

Just noticed that was ND's last game of the season and apparently no bowl after 8-2 (lost to USC earlier)and ranked #13, but beat the Green Weenies the previous week 21-7 @ND! I guess the Weenies really softened them up for us!
