While NFL day measurables are good and nice, it is always nice to have a multi-year progression of plays to showcase your talent. It is a simple case of averages. If the team has 3 WRs and passes 30 times - you get 10 each. But if you have a team that tends to throw 55 times then it almost doubles to 20. So by the time you are a senior you have progressed as well developed a knowledge of the scheme and all this only adds to a player's draft rankings.

I know. I was just pointing out that it evidently means very little to NFL scouts. If you have the talent, NFL scouts will find you. For A&M to have such great offensive production over the past 6 years, but not have one single WR drafted is shocking to me. At the same time, LSU has had very poor WR production (due to poor qb play and run-first offensive scheme) and we have had 6 WRs picked in the draft.
