Calvin Johnson can catch it in the air, roll around with it for a second or two, and then lose it up on the way to a celebration and it's an incompletion, but somebody can use the turf to help secure the ball, no hands beneath it, because it hit his hands first, and that's a catch.

Something ain't right there.

And, oh, btw, if you duck your helmet into somebody trying to tackle you at your waist, that shouldn't be a penalty on the tackler.

It's the NFL and the Saints. Rules get made up as they go. Kind of like the Obama administration and the constitution.

Alas.....everything you said is correct my friend.

Sometimes football needs to be simple. A hit is a hit and if the ball touches the ground....it's not a dang catch.

that catch was legit. He had the ball in both hands before it hit the ground and the ball never shifted from hitting the ground once he had possession. Receiver had complete control of it. Refs got it right

The catch in the first quarter by the eagles was not a catch.

Celek's was not a catch.

Megatron's was a catch.

The penalty on Vick was not a penalty, he ducked into it.

bullshite. You could clearly see the ball shift once it hit the ground. NOT a catch.

Crank the DVR back up. On one of the angles you can clearly see the ball touch the ground and one hand barely come off ball for a split second as the ball shifted. It was plain as day if you're watching close enough.

I think it was a catch. I'm about 75% in agreement with the call

The penalty for the illegal hit on Vick though? Complete bullshite. Absolutely horrific call, if it were the replacement officials, ESPN would be showing it over and over again.

Remember Rex, Dems vote on Wednesday.

I did not see the ball move once it hit the ground. Looked like he had possession with both hands, one hand came off a bit, but the ball didn't move while being held by the other hand. I thought it was a catch on every angle I saw.

I thought for sure, after the second bad call, i wasn't gonna be able to stomach this game. P Rob nullified those calls though. Then he stuck his head up his arse on the Desean td!!!
