I am looking at football dynasties like Spurrier's UF, Bowden's FSU, the Miami of yore, Bryant's Alabama (now Saban's). LSU began its serious stab at greatness under Saban, and it's continued under Miles to some degree. But the previous two wins, prior to the previous two losses to Alabama are "back in the day" already. What is in the immediate present (1/9/12 and 11/2/12) are what I'm noting. And that's current events. So IMO, until this two game loss streak to Alabama is reversed, I'll say "No, the direction of Tiger football is not all up and roses. There are major problems to address if we expect to remain among the present/future elites."
