Is it because teams aren't having to use them? Is Lofton making a difference?

What do yall suggest?

After the tailback, full back, wideouts and slot receivers score the Saints shutdown the TE's with a furiuos abandon.

This is where advanced stats are dumb. The Saints defense is awful in every way. If teams wanted to destroy us by using TEs, they would.

However, they are awesome on 2nd and 8 with the opposing offense on the left hash on the Saints 35-39 yard line in the I-formation with at least 9 players wearing black shoes and Ramon Humber on the field.

At least the TE is a growing offensive weapon, where the FB is a dying breed.

San Fran's TE destroyed the Saints last year. Their TE is their best receiver, so they passed it to him.
The Saints allow the best WR on the opposing team to get open often. That's who will get the ball, and a lot.
The TE is not the best WR on most teams.

Other than rivers--gates have we faced anyone with a dynamic TE passing game?

I guess GB but that connection has been spotty this year.

No doubt our defense blows donkey dick, but im giving credit to lofton. He is a beast for us and is masked by a shitty defense.
