that's a cop out... if you're serious about improving your deer, speak out to your club and adjoining clubs. If you alone let 4 young bucks walk each year, chances are that maybe 1 or 2 of those will make it to be a much better deer next year and much much better in 2 years, a trophy, perhaps.
that's like saying, "i ain't gonna go vote, cause obama is gonna get reelected anyway"... You have a choice, do something about it.. kill a doe for the meat, hope that your actions and the ones you infleunce make better deer for you club..
on the other hand, hunting should be fun, again, it's your choice, do what makes you happy... just don't bitch about your club not having any good deer.

On one of my cameras I have had 6 different legal bucks in the last three weeks. The one I killed monday I hadn't seen yet this year.

I've got a deer that I've been watching for the last three years. He started out looking like that and now is close to an 140 inch 12pt.
