As far as the Astro comparisons, I was checking them hard, but due to some trade ins I had and the fact that I wasn't aware about the firmware fixing the mic issues, the Trittons made for a better value (to me).

I don't knock em, though. I've never used OEMs for gaming, and would love to try a pair out to see if they're really better and how comfortable they are.

i switched from tritton to astro earlier this year, it lfelt like i was in a neck brace with the wieght of the trittons, astros are light and sound unfrickingbeleivable, also i noticed last week you can buy them at worstbuy now.

I only mention them because they are the only store i know of you can walk into and buy them. Ordered mine online, use them for gaming and everything else. Let my brother use them to watch the last episode of forward unto dawn and he was blown away with the quality

I'm probably going. Trying to do all my studying tonight so i can play at least a little while tomorrow. And i will update with GTs Wednesday (I have a test Wed and I don't have time to update it right now) if everyone posts them.
