Not even close. This one is all made up by ESPN, CBS and gumps.

In the USC game it was David vs Goliath and believe me people were different in Baton Rouge in that decade. They cared. Tailgaiting was very secondary to getting inside the stadium and the players were worshiped. Today with the blaring commercials I feel more like I'm at an NBA circus.

Well said and accurate statement, especially the "People were different in Baton Rouge in that decade. Tailgating was very secondary to getting inside the stadium" part.

Ain't this the truth! I think this is why our crowd has become so subdued - we're hungover by halftime.
