Sed Ellis is the leader of the pack. They get whupped pretty much every play.

The only one that showed any flashes of greatness is Hicks. The rest are below average at best.

Hicks was playing really well last night. It's nice to notice play from the D-line. He is SEC deserving of his starting position. Might as well let him go the rest of the season and continue to get reps and develop. Will be very good even next year IMO

The Saints D has been pretty bad in Paytons era but this one is the worst we have seen. It's going to take a lot to fix. If Drew doesn't play his best every game they ain't going to win. That is alot of pressure to take but hey he should expect it.

When a defense has to defend as much as his defenses have had to, it can become extremely difficult. An offense as successful as the Saints under Payton puts a ton of pressure on the d to come up with stops because they face the opposing o so much more. Under Williams, they at least forced turnovers. This defense really can't do anything though and the offense leaves something to be desired without Payton's presence.

For a D-line with so many first rounders on it... they sure do suck.

They were getting pushed around on EVERY single play last night. It was like watching grown men mauling teenagers.

Time to call it like it is. These guys are TERRIBLE.

I always thought this guy was trying to remember where he left his clothes the night before.
