Alabama has lost 7 games since 2008. Only one of those games did a team throw more than 20 passes. Utah in the 2008 sugar bowl. Every other loss was 20, 20, 17, 22, 21, 20. We should not attempt more than 20 passes.

I see the stats, but that did not work as a viable game plan in January.

They just don't lose if you toss the ball around.

You said Utah was the only game with more than 20 then you listed 2 other games with more than 20. Those teams you listed makes an average of 20. Add in Utah and that average is over 20. You failed math.

That's because we couldn't run the ball. Also, our passing attempts were almost all WR screens and other short stuff. Give me 14 for 20 for 180 yards, 1 TD, no nits, and no sacks, and I say that's a victory.

The 20 passes need to be effective not just any 20 old passes. Attempting 20 or less also means you are able to run the ball on them. Usually the teams that passed more could not run or were behind.

i hear you but we need to get first downs to score and to rest the defense. if bama crowds the los with both lb's and safeties we need to throw the damn ball. we have a good punter and a good defense.

If we are not running the ball well due BAMA putting 9 guys in the box, then hopefully Les has learned a lesson and will try something different instead of going down with the ship. So, throwing the ball more than 20 times will be necessary.

The key is completing the passes.

We just need to ride our horses against Bama to win instead of trying to pass.

And when I say "ride our horses", I mean that we need to put Spencer Ware and our other RBs on actual horses and let them run the ball...otherwise we will be stopped just running with humans.

misdirection run and pass plays.

Do not let them get up by more than one score.

No stupid penalties.

Win turnover battle.

Burn the gameplan from 1-9.
