Looking for 4-years, $60 million, which is a max deal. They have until Wednesday to make a deal.

Do they have the cap space to offer another max deal?

So Westbrook, KD, and Harden all have big deals?

Didn't they just give Thabo a good sized contract? I might have missed it but I thought Ibaka and Harden were both up for deals, and the rumblings were Ibaka would get a deal before Harden. What happened with that?

How the heck can they afford all 5 of those contracts? And don't they still have Perkins contract?

I'm confused

How could they pull off signing all those guys? I don't really know anything about the nba cap but I'm just wondering how they would be able to pay all those guys all that money?

I'm no cap expert, but I'm guessing they'll be paying a shite load of luxury tax every year.

Yeah on another team he could be the first scoring option and average high 20's, not many in the league do that.

What is the cap in the NBA? The 2013-14 payroll for OKC with Harden getting a max deal would be at around 69 million.

I guess people are just going to ignore his finals "performance".

Some other team would definitely give him a max contract. I personally don't think he's worth a max contract though. In the same way that guys like Joe Johnson and Rudy Gay don't deserve max contacts.

The easy thing to do is to amnesty Kendrick Perkins after the season ends. That will make their luxury cap penalties more manageable, even with the steeper rates.

The Thunder have no incentive to give Harden a max right now, unless they think he is going to tank this year, which I doubt. They can always give him a max in July 2013 when the Pistons give him a 4 years, 60 million dollar deal.
