I don't know a whole lot about aging, but the guy I hunt with that is my access to this property wants to know ages. If you want to throw some scores out there to, go ahead.

This is on his uncle's cattle ranch south of Shreveport. We've been managing four years, but got hit hard with the drought last year, but can see the results for sure.

BUCK #1 - 8 PT

BUCK #2 - 8PT

BUCK #3 - 10 PT

BUCK #4 - 8 PT

BUCK #5 - 8 PT

Buck 1- 3.5 years old. Score 128. Kill him

Buck 2- Same deer as buck one. If not, same age/score.

Buck 3- 4.5 years old. Score 131. Kill him

Buck 4- 4.5 years old. Score 127. Kill him

Buck 5- 4.5 years old. Score 124. Kill him

**The above is within 3 years of age and 15 points B&C score.

My guesses...

Buck #1 - 2.5-3.5 year old 120 +/- 5
Buck #2 - Based on second pic I'd go 3.5 years. You sure 1 and 2 arent the same deer?
Buck #3 - Posterior profiles can be deceiving, I'd go 2.5 years. Your best deer in the pics, great potential with another year or two. The side profile gives him away. The main beam doesnt come far enough forward to make him a 3.5+ and the mass isnt there yet.
Buck #4 - 2.5 years
Buck #5 - Short tines but decent spread. Sometimes this is an older deer, but the belly and back suggest a weak 2.5 year old

Just covering my arse. It's hard to tell by pics. I think they'd all meet the criteria at our camp which is either 16" wide or a 20" main beam.

If you sent something today, I didn't get it.

Something's up. I haven't gotten anything since the 18th. I don't know what the heck's going on.

I already knew your answer. We're trying to quantify our investment I guess.

They will all die if they step out in front of me. All bigger than anything I've ever killed.

Thanks for the inputs. I thought they were all around 3.5 or so, but I don't know much about it.

What makes you think 1 and 2 or differnt deer? Were the pic locations a long way apart?

Nope. I thought they were the same, but my buddy convinced me otherwise.

Upon further investigation, they are the same IMO. The right brow tine is a give away.

I think they're the same deer. The left tine is slightly higher on both and it looks like they both have the same curvature and a crab claw on the right beam
