I'm watching this game and I noticed that the hornets have some serious trouble with ball movement and getting to the basket, this team needs them in if they will have success. I hope Gordon and Rivers complement each other to help this roll.

Rivers hasn't been much of an offensive option

I hope they can muster 82 games between them combined.

Saw the box score from tonight and saw Rivers played 13 minutes and had 0 rebounds and 0 points.

What was he doing out there?

to be fair, the entire team looked like crap the 1st Q (and most of the game)

Did the team close it out well like usual or was it garbage points as to why it was so close?

Yea I know. But it's stuff like this that worries me about him. I know it's just the preseason and I know he's a project but Rivers has looked pretty bad thus far (from what I've heard. I haven't been able to actually watch preseason games). I didn't expect a whole lot from Rivers at this point, but I expected more than what he's shown so far. I guess I'm just a little disappointed.

I don't think he's a spotlight guy in the nba. I think he needs another guy to take that light and he plays around it. That's why I can't wait for him and eg to play together.

I can be worse than last year if Gordon is hurt

Jarrett Jack's absence will be magnified

Did you not watch the beginning of the game? The offense was actually better after Rivers left the game. Hornets offense is so dismal without Gordan should be your title.

I actually agree with your feeling, but I thought it was kind of funny how you articulated it.

I edited in the part about me not being able to watch preseason games. So I didn't notice that.
