The fake screen deep vertical play

They sniffed it out a few times in the first half. We ran it a bit.

I think the reason we are the best screen team in the league is that we never rely on it heavily. Very easy play to blow up if defense suspects it.

We ran a grand total of zero screen passes yesterday. I mentioned that during the game to the guy sitting next to me at the bar, and he was equally dumbfounded by this.
ETA: Swing passes to the backs are not the same as screen passes, guys.

Loved that play call, I don't ever remember seeing it before. I think the absence of screen passes was due to lack of blitz being called by TB.

Good call.
Now we ran a similar play over the last few years where Drew would fake the screen in both directions (both Thomas and Bush/Sproles would be in the game) and then throw to the TE.
