I'm not arguing your point about the lack of second effort. I agree this has been a problem. However, for all the problems the WR's have had, it had not been from down field blocking.

See the third post as an example.

I love my boy Chase but I saw him a few times on Saturday just standing and watching as the defense was driving our RB's back before the whistle blew.

Ok. I will keep a better watch on the WR blocking. Maybe i have missed some great WR blocks based on how many beers i have to drink to try and forget all the dropped passes during a game. I think the WRs will come around in the route running and catching skills. Mett did throw some ducks this past weekend over some wide open receivers.
