That includes playoff games... which Brees' record doesn't. If you include playoff games, Brees is up to 55 or 56 now (except the Carolina game)

Then why is it a record? He didn't do it consecutively. Did Unitas sit a game? If he did then I have no issue with this. But that's why I am asking this question.
