Not often I agree with Yasinkas but he hit the nail on the head with this one.

quote:

Quarterback Drew Brees said he doesn’t feel like the NFL is listening to complaints from him and other players. Just a thought, but maybe complaining about everything is a waste of time. Maybe Brees’ time would be better served focusing on getting his own team on track.

If the Bounty program is a load of Crap as Drew keeps droning on about ad-nauseum, Why haven't his Buddys SP and ML challenged their suspensions.

Love Drew, Best think to ever happen to N.O sports, but please, Just STFU

Haven't heard him whine.

If you're asking if I'm tired of his being upset that his coaches/teammates are being railroaded, thus endangering his (and by association, our) chances at a championship, then frick no, I'm not.

Ignoring the obvious trolling, he hasn't been "droning on about ad-nauseum." GFY.

Drew's mind is on winning. He's just a leader, and with that he becomes the voice for a lot of people.

He has every right and position to stick up for his team.

Nothing sickens me more than fans turning on their leader. Go find a new fricking team then with a less vocal QB.

There are actually more effective ways to ignore someone. I promise.

I will say that he's right in that the general public's perception is that drew's been a little to vocal on various things for many's liking.

the many?

i don't give a flying frick what any other NFL player say.. so why is this an issue? who truly deep down cares that is not connected to the issue?

i certainly don't. bitching about whining is worse than whining itself. so this OP and whoever wrote this article are a bunch of..

Jesus, what a bunch of Myopic Kool-Aid swigging dipshits.

FWIW, Nobody loves this team or Quarterback more than I do, But I'm not gonna blindly ingest all of this "whoa-is-us" crap coming out of his mouth every time he opens it.

He's baiting Goodell, and his team is 1-5. Move the frick On already.

PY proving how big of a retard he is. It takes him a whopping 10 seconds or so to say he doesn't like the way Goodell is handling the situation. Do you think dedicating 10 more seconds to gameplanning is going to help? Do you think Brees (or any QB) dedicates 100% of their time to preparing for football? Are you familiar with the concept of diminishing returns?

Vilma is too. So is our coach. front office. etc. Drew has their back..and his opinion is valued more by the media than anyone else playing on the team.

He does take care of business in games..he works hard at turning a kids game into a work of art. He won us a superbowl and was the mvp. We wont have him forever,..and with that i wouldn't even care if his voice sounded like Fran Drescher.

THIS. I hate how people get mad at him for talking about something that is really important to him and the team. Heck, I look at it as if he is speaking for us as fans because he actually has some kind of pull. Besides, if Drew talks to a reporter for 5 minutes is that going to make or break his workout/practice time? Give me a break!
