I think you missed the past 3.5 years somehow. The coaching staff has tried NUMEROUS ways to utilize RS. Few have really had any success.
He is not a punt returner.
He is not a kick returner.
He is not a tough runner, so "wildcat" is not really an option.
He fit "best" as a receiver...but never really excelled in that roll. Now LSU simply has other guys Magee, Boone, Landry and OBJ that are apparently ahead of him for PT.
So he plays special teams and does a good job there.
He was not wasted...he did not pan out.
Would he have panned out elsewhere? Who knows...impossible to say.
