Perhaps it would help your perspective to realize the whole basis of your argument boils down to a difference of ONE GAME! A different result in the BCSNCG and you have no argument whatsoever right? A win in that ONEGAME and Miles is 4-2 against Saban, 2-1 in NCG's at their current schools and make all your current points moot.

So one game out of 100 for Miles...do better in ONE GAME and you're good. So lets look at that game. Saban at the height of his powers with his best team to date. Saban was holding ALL the cards in that ONE GAME. He had an actual QB to work with. His team was much more mature, with a defense that was one of the best ever fielded and one other important factor going for it....the EMOTIONAL advantage! They got an unprecedented chance for a do over in the BCSNCG after having stewed for 3 months over the loss LSU and LES MILES handed them in BDS!

This situation has always favored the first game loser in the history of football. In a game between evenly matched teams and coaches...a motivational advantage is the BIGGEST factor in determining a winner.

Even if you don't agree with my assessment of the title game, that fact remains that you are quibbling over ONE GAME to determine that CLM is less than Saban. What was your assessment of the two after LSU beat Bama in consecutive games in 2010 and 2011? Those games were "for all the marbles" as far as Bama was concerned. They were in contention for national titles before the kickoff of both of those games and CLM and LSU outcoached and outplayed them and crushed their dreams those two days. You have conveniently forgotten the momentous victories those were because you focus on the negative and downplay the positive. THAT is why you have a Saban and Bama inferiority complex.

There, you should be cured now,you owe me 5 cents.
