Jack in the Box Highland Road-Review (with others)

Saturday night after the game we were looking for some grub.
Decided to meet at Chipotle. Closed!
Five Guys. Closed!
The line for Canes was super long, so we go to Jack. Even though the sign said open until 2, it was closed except the drive through. So we go to the drive through and they say we have to have a car.
I'm boycotting Jack in the Box on Highland.

There were no cars. The road between the North Gates and just north of JIB was blocked.

Is it a review if you didn't eat?

So basically this is a cathartic thread with no real purpose. Got it. Hope you feel better now.

three friends and I tried to walk through that very drive through about 6-7 years ago; it was after a rehearsal dinner, we were drunk, and didn't have access to a car (or a sober person to drive one, if we had one). they rejected us as well....

Fat in the Crack's racist car in the drive thru policy is racist.

man, i remember back in the day it was a big deal for virtually all restaurants in BR to be open late after LSU home games .. what time are we talking about ? and why would those places be closed right off of campus after home games ??

Not new to have to be in a car. As a kid I rode my bike to Burger King and tried the drive thru and they wouldn't serve me.

Not sure, but before midnight.

That is one of the places that serves fast food that I suspect sells more in drugs at the drive thru. PS, it is absolute shite anyways so count your blessings.

No, it was threefold:
1. To clown around after a fun weekend in BR.
2. To piss off pretentious blowhards.
3. Given that catharsis would imply some need to vent this (which is not the case) I wanted to give those with sticks up their asses something to complain about.

There are only a few on here that could answer this. Most with this problem still have them up there.

I tried to go through their drive through late at night on my bike once. They were not amused.

Must say I was guilty of this while in college.
Tried explaining to the attendant that I was too hammered to drive, and that I was doing people a favor by walking instead of driving.
Still left empty handed.
I didn't know they closed that street after games? That's silly.
