I am about sick of easports

It just seema like mail their games in any more.
Playing madden 13 just now and a few things that inexcusable to me are.
First and foremost the commentary.
Im in the fifth year of my career as hc of the raiders and those two idiots are still jabbering about d allen being the hc of the raiders. Hes been gone for five seasons.
Aling those lines, they stikk talk about how various teams did in 2011 stating that it was last season when it was 6 seasons ago in reality.
Next most irritating
The eay the scouting screen sometimes freezes up when sorting players. Come on you assholes thats pretty weak, fix that.
Oh and while were discussing freeze ups how about the at least once a game issue when dropping back to pass where the game hiccups fricking up any rythmn. Jow many fricking years do we have to put up with that before you fix it?
Next complaint. How come no matter how big the lead or how shitty the opponent if you supersim a quarter the fricking computer will tie up the score?
Speaking of simming. I sim most games completely, and again no matter the difference in teams i lose 75% of the games i sim first time around.
If im 7-0 with the number one rated offense going against 0-7 tampa with the leagues worst defense i ahould never lose that game in a sim. Wl not never but you know what i mean. Yet invariably the game fricks me over.
Just stupid.
As far as connected careers i actually enjoy it exceot for a couple issues.
One is it takes forever to improve anyone other than akill position players. But maybe the patch will take care of that.
Two us they have made it nealey impossible to field a complete team of players who are a good fit with any style if play. No matter what you do you have players that just are poor fits according to the game.
Oh one other thing that irritates me about the game. Five seasons in and arkansas has put two players into the draft. Meanwbile fiu has put a dozen in.
And before anyone laughs and says sounds about right for arkansas let me say this.
I have ncaafb 2013on my 360, arkansas is clearly chosen as my favorite. How difficult would it be to have madden pull that off my profile and make sure my favorite team puts a couple guys in the draft each year?
Oh and i did two drafts today and there was one guy from the sec in both top 10s cimbined anyway.
Just oisses me off that their games are $65 now and they keep getting the same things wrong.
Or am i being too harsh?

This was the first year in over 10 years I didn't purchase NCAA. I've been playing 2012 instead and I don't regret it. EA Sports blows.

I actually agree with everything you said. I buy NCAA and madden damn near every year and the same problems occur year in and out. I really hate the commentary in madden for the reasons you listed. Inexcusable I won't purchase the product easports puts out unless drastic changes are made. It shouldn't be that fricking hard to fix these damn problems

Speaking of EA Sports, I just got an email over the weekend about a class action lawsuit claiming EA Sports violated consumer rights by gaining a monolopy over the simulation football video game market by signing exclusive rights deals with the NCAA, NFL, and AFL.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves with EA. On NCAA you can be LSU or Bama, one of the best defenses, and play some WAC team and god forbid you are in a hurry and want to sim a few plays on defense: 25 yard pass, 14 yard run, 9 yard run, BOOM 30 YARD PASS FOR TD. It's absolutely retarded and it happens nearly every time. Not to mention how impossible it is to win games on RTG...no matter what side of the ball your player is on, the other side will blow the game on sim. I was a QB for LSU and would have to average like 40 or 50 points a game just because my defense can't stop Ole Piss

So wait you really expect them to record commentary for every possible situation for future years for commentary, how the frick are they supposed to know what you are going to do w/ the franchise.

You make commentary about the coach himself, not about the team. Go listen to an NBA 2K13 game, their commentary changes as members on the team and staff change. It's not real hard to do, but they are lazy because they don't have to put forth much work into their game.
I doubt the lawsuit will work, but it needs to happen because EA Sports has made a joke out of football games for years. You see The Show for baseball, 2K for basketball, and FIFA and NHL from EA CANADA. Maybe they should let EA Canada make the football games as well because the current EA staff can't really do anything well.

i typically give commentary the benefit of the doubt because it's all recorded. I can't imagine how difficult or how much stuff could actually be let out just based on "damn we forgot that" type of thing. I see your point though.

it takes a long time, but that was the intention because people were complaining last year about how fast players were improving. They need to find a happy medium.

You can change your scheme of each position to make players fit to what you want. I changed my SS and LB. I read that this part doesn't really matter because it doesn't affect your team. But you can change it in the coach's options menu. Forgot the specific name, but it's under the last menu on the right and says coach or coach strategy or something

Yes, you are. The things you are complaining about will never be perfect and it would take years to make a game that would satisfy every need of the people that play these games.
Keep in mind that they can't fix everything in one year for a game because they won't have anything to add in the following that would make people buy the game. They have to keep selling the game.

That's not what I was referring to, yea if they fricked up coaching and personnel commentary you have a legit complaint, but to get on them for talking about the results of the 2011 season and not updating it, then there is nothing there.
Also wanted to point out that this isn't an EA Sports problem, this is an EA Tiburon problem... NHL, FIFA and TW don't have stupid problems like these. In fact I'd argue FIFA is the best game EA makes currently

as a rule? no, just did it yesterday to see what would happen. In general though, I like to be realistic, that why I enjoy just being the GM and letting the computer sim the games. I just wish it was more accurate.

i've experienced some of the bugs you're talking about but it's been very rare.. i actually like the way the players progress because it seems more realistic.. in ncaa RTG modes, i'd have my player in the 90s overall by the end of his freshman year and while it was fun blowing everyone out with hugh jass at the helm, it got kind of boring
i like this game... i take that back, i LOVE this game.. i think that EA did a spectular job at developing this.. maybe i set my standards a little lower than most here, but i don't expect perfection with every release that comes out.. i really just want intriguing career modes and a game that comes with a little replayability (i think thats a word) and to me, madden has it
