I've just recently started listening to them, and I am hooked. What are some other bands like EITS that I should check out?

Yes.

One of my favorite youtube music videos: LINK

OP, check out:
Emancipator
Tycho
Little People
The Album Leaf
Bonobo
Aether

Some of those are a bit more electronic, but still excellent music and a similar style to EITS.

Other instrumental acts would include:

Russian Circles
Don Caballero
Irepress
dysrhythmia

or if you looking for straight chill, what the Doc said.

Their Austin City Limits show is incredible. 25 minutes long. It's absolutely insane that it has only 1900 plays. I've listened to it at least a dozen times

ACL

Memorial starts around 19 minutes. The next 5 are incendiary. Also, check Munaf play drums around the 14 minute mark. I've still never seen them do this. One of the greatest live bands I've ever seen.

Unfortunately, the drummer died in an accident about 2 years ago. Guy fell down an elevator shaft in NYC.

Explosions in the Sky is my son's favorite (or it was a year ago). Personally, I like lyrics. But it's the way of the world that we would not have the same taste in music. Or the circle of life. Or something.
